We design custom homes at very competitive prices. Our building knowledge, skill and experience allows us to create designs that are easy to build (and therefore cost effective) but are also beautiful, functional, and exceptionally efficient.

We have experience working with local HOA guidelines as well as the BOZAR process in the town of Crested Butte. We collaborate with local engineers to develop the full package of architectural and structural plans that are required to fulfill any of the local building departments’ permitting processes.

Building Performance

Whether building or designing, we strive to create cost effective custom homes that are pleasing to look at inside, and out. We also believe that the way a house performs is just as important as how it looks. Along with the general functioning, flow and pattern of the house, any examination of the performance of a house should include the amount of energy it uses and produces, how clean the inside air is, what protections are in place from internal and external moisture, how healthy the building materials are, and much more.

Robb Fessenden, the founder and president of the company, usually takes on only one major building project a year so that he can be on the building site most of the time. He feels that this keeps quality and efficiency as high as possible.
